# I-Planet International Center

We promote the well-being of ***international students, professionals, and their families*** through community programming, resource navigation, and advocacy.

##### Who we are:

- All-volunteer non-profit
- Founded in May 2024 by 3 UPenn Alum
- Registered in PA, based in Philadelphia
- led by internationals, for internationals

Founded and led by internationals — we know how it feels, because we’ve walked that path.

### Evidence-based, Community-Led

We conduct literature reviews, survey and hold focus groups with the international community, tailoring programs to the populations being served.

### Social Work Expertise

Our accredited social workers bring trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally sensitive support.

### Mindfulness Approach, Strength-Based

We encourage nonjudgmental awareness of thoughts and emotions, providing space to address what arises and empower students.

### Collective Healing

We create community by fostering peer support and community resilience.
